Cliffs Notes: The King finishes his quote from "The Tempest" (which will figure prominently in the wrap-up coming shortly) and declares Tara worm-free.
Soldier tires of the King's nonsense and laments Tara's imminent demise at the hands of this moron.
"Out, out, brief candle!" recalls Soldier's quote from Chapter Three (Poe's The Conqueror Worm) :
"Out — out are the lights — out all!"
